He had a bad run at GT, but at least he has an offensive system. Brownell can't coach offense. It's a friggin joke.

With the right assistants, he can have a good program.

Try not to think too much. Pastner had 4 losing seasons out of 7.

Which leads to the question. Would you rather finish consistently in the middle of the ACC vs every few years win the ACC? I vote win something.

dead wrong. Pastner four straight losing seasons. Brownell has had one losing season in 13 years. Not even close. And Brownell recruits Atlanta better than Pastner.

Wont be glad or watch Clemson basketball until brownell is gone. His teams seem to fold when it matters. No knock on his players. If we don't make the tourney then I think it's time to find a real basketball coach. Secondly, it NC state makes it over Clemson then that will be a big big travesty of justice.

Holding our sports programs to higher standards, but making stupid statements does nothing to help the integrity of the argument. Pastner squandered the talent he had and then let local talent get recruited out from under him in Atlanta. Getting a two game tournament championship was a gift (UVA forfeit). In a weak ACC too.
If we are to get better, we can’t allow for our coaches’ contracts to reward mediocrity. If the bar is lowered upon signing, why should we expect more upon execution.
I do give credit to the Gatech admin for making the move. Football coach and basketball coach in same academic year? Wow! Just shows how bad things have gotten down there.

Brad should hire him but would never think out of box to do so. Brad will keep on doing the same things with the same assistants and continue getting the same results. Josh could probably bring a couple of his best players that would round out a good team next year.
