No doubt that Cole Stoudt is hurt

His velocity is not the same as last year. I won't be surprised to find out he's been playing with a separated shoulder. He doesn't look right.

Were his shoulders hurting when he was pumping up the crowd after the first down run inside the redzone?

Well I had a partial tear in my rotator cuff and there were somethings I could do and some I couldn't. I could throw a baseball and a football, but I couldn't do a pushup or lift any weights.

Cole looks hurt, unsure of himself, and scared, which really all go hand in hand I guess. If you're hurt, you are unsure of what you can do, and you're scared because you have 80k people expecting you to play like Boyd or Watson.
I think back to the play where it was a bubble screen to the right (unsure of the receiver to be), but the DB bust through the LOS, the receiver falls on the ground and Cole made the throw anyway. He cannot adjust very well at all. Had that been Deshaun he becomes a running back or scrambles until another receiver is open. Deshaun is just light years beyond where you'd think he would be at this stage of his career. I hope he plays all 4 years and stays for his degree.

He may have hurt his throwing arm in the first qtr!

His are was hit as he was in his throwing motion and he immediately grabbed it. I did not notice that during the game but did on the DVR. It reminded me of the year-ending injury Willy Korn suffered in a game. That may have affected his throwing motion, especially on long throws the rest of the night.

I'm so confused as to why Dabo and Chad won't even try Nick for a series or two to see how he does.

By the way, and I'm sure I may get blasted by Stoudt apologists, but I bet Bryant or Isreal could have come in and outplayed Cole yesterday.
