What do the Tigers have to do to get to Omaha? They should have a pretty good shot right?

So the regional is a lock? Provided they don’t tank at the end?

barring a severe let down CU is a lock for hosting regional - getting closer to a National Seed - lock for super assuming you win regional

If we get some of our injured guys back (dunno if there is a timeline for them...) and keep our bats hot we could be competitive in a 3 game series vs anyone.
Super regional appearance should be a minimum for this year, maybe advance to Omah. If we ever figure out our bullpen, watchout!

The key is most likely for us to get a cple of injured players back in the game like Will Taylor, and for Tristan Smith to start back throwing the way that he was before his injury and this team will have the best chance of getting back to Omaha than we've had in a long time. But IMO, losing Andrew Ciufo for the season is a loss in every game, especially with his bat...

Actually, LF has been better without Taylor. Bissetta and Crighton have been blistering the baseball. If the middle relievers wake up and start throwing strikes, we should be good to go.

Bottom line. We have to hit teams ace pitchers. If we don’t we will be sitting home for the 14th straight season. Our pitching with Smith and Knaak will be just fine to get us to 2-0. We have to hit in the winners bracket game period

Win a regional first
That’s a pretty broad question though that can be answered by “just keep winning”
The pitching specifically absolutely must improve. It was unacceptable against Louisville.
We all know, or we all should know, that this is the best team in the country given its ceiling.
If this team is playing at its personal ceiling, it is better than any other team playing at their ceiling.
You’re also going to need luck along the way. It’s baseball, it’s easier to beat more talented teams as an inferior team in college baseball.

I think we are a pretty solid team, the 3 in front of us at the moment are pretty #### good as well, just keep throwing strikes and timely hitting and we can play with anyone.

Considering the team ERA is 1st in the ACC and 14th nationally, the pitching needs to improve through the end of the season and ACCT. Most of the teams ranked above Clemson in ERA do not have the strength of schedule or close to their RPI ranking.
The errors need to stop. Ranked 181 in fielding percentage gives the opponent extra outs and stresses the pitching staff.

Get healthy. Keep hitting and producing runs like we have. I'd like to see the team cut down on errors in the field.

Yes Sir. We definitely need to get guys healthy. Can't afford our mental mistakes like overrunning bags, getting picked off. Sure, pen pitching got us in Louisville game 2, but we had some good opportunities to score and we didn't. We've had some lead-off doubles that didn't produce a run.
Can't count (maybe 15 times this year) where we've put a guy on via an error, or a walk in the early innings and they've ended up scoring.
We've gotten away with it because our bats heat up. We need Smith to return to pre injury form. I'd say the uga game is a good indicator of what the 2nd seed will be. We hung with them 15 innings and they struggled to hit also. But we had 21 k's. Saying, got to avoid the non productive out.
Hopefully Gordon can be our closer. But I think if anything keeps us from Omaha, it'll be the lack of a closer that can come in and get strikeouts. But we tend to pitch to contact

Seeing it is a constant reminder that we want to make it there. Without it on the back of our hats, we might forget about it and not play as hard.

I like the way the little dotted line looks like the 3-point arc, it reminds them that they have to stand behind that to shoot a 3-pointer.

Does the Nike Swoosh remind them that only Sheff needs to rebound and block-out?

so better suggestions:
Clemson End with 6 Guys on the Court
Clemson No Halftime Adjustments
Clemson Cuss Them Out
Clemson Fifth Place Finishers
Clemson One and Done
some others ? ?

There will be a Saturday night matchup where our best goes against the #2 seeds best. We haven’t won those matchups in a while, that’s baseball though. You can win 45+ games in a regular season but it comes down to 2 pitchers and seeing which one can dominate for 7 innings and then hope your bullpen is better than theirs
