Got into it again with my friend..

This time it was the last straw as she said we weren’t very good friends and blocked me. She’s part of the LGBTQ population and married but is poly. She says I actively support and vote for people that put her health and safety at risk and wish death upon her and her people. She said the US is brainwashed into thinking that Israel / Palestine is God’s holy land when it isn’t and that we are supporting a mass genocide much like the holocaust.
Synopsis of chat:
“ I spent from ages 9-29 doing what I was "supposed" to, looking how I was "supposed" to, thinking how I was "supposed" to. And I just don't do that anymore, and I surround myself with people who have also worked through societal norms and instead reject those things. Most of my friends are anti-capitalist, eco-consious, queer or strong allies, have worked to be anti-racist, strive to advocate for inclusion in their personal lives and their professional lives. The people I surround myself with are actively changing the world for the better with me. I don't want to spend any time talking to people who instead want to dig their heels in and try to slow progress.”

And the reason you spend so much emotional energy debating something as pointless as politics is because it fulfills a need you're not getting in your current relationship. It's called excitement, or more specifically, being challenged. You think you want the submissive, conservative girl who aligns with your political values, but you are already bored; not borishly, but you are finding you need more intellectual stimulation that someone with perfectly aligned values can't provide. Your "friend" can. I'm not saying she's marriage material; you definitely do have to have aligned values (religious, and more importantly, financial), but she's clearly a conduit for more than just friendly banter.

A few thoughts...
1. Not sure this is the forum for how to save your friendship, unless you just wanted to shame her to strangers, and if so, maybe you didn't value her much as a friend to begin with.
2. Putting the Israel stuff aside, maybe hear what she has to say about her own personal views. All politics is personal. If she's right in what she says about you, perhaps try to understand why she feels that way. If she's wrong about you, explain why. And how sometimes we vote for people for a bigger reason. I supported Nikki Haley for president; I certainly disagree with a lot of her views. I bet some of my friends wouldn't like what I'm doing because of her stances on guns and abortion. But I saw a bigger cause for voting for her, so that's why I did.
3. As we get older, roster cuts come hard in friends for various reasons. Maybe it just wasn't meant to work out.

Yeah we had a long chat about it, this was the most level headed answer. We basically did what you said and it’s just that I share a lot of ultra right wing borderline conspiracy stuff with her and she does not feel safe or mentally sound talking to me in that state. It’s exhausting for her and causes a lot of anxiety and didn’t realize it was that bad.

If you're sending her right-wing "borderline conspiracy" stuff against her will, then you should stop doing that. I don't send political stuff to any of my friends, regardless of their political views. In today's hyper-polarized world, you're just asking for conflict.
If I were in her shoes, that would bother me.
Now, I'm not sure about all the other stuff, but yeah, don't send her things that you know will trigger her. That's not being a friend.

Y'all can't stop pushing this #### on people. I'm in a chat group with my hood friends, and two MAGA guys in there keep doing the same thing when the chat is supposed to be about beer and golf and cracking jokes and arranging cornhole games.
This has become a hallmark of Trumpists; throw as much #### as you can at other people and see what sticks or causes a reaction, and you're doing it too much to family and friends. You aren't winning anyone to your cause, and it just seems like a little hint that you ultimately want these ideas forced on others.
Stop being this way. It's okay if friends of yours don't agree with you or believe the same crazy #### you do. Have a beer with them and calm TF down.

Basically saying that I’m a Christian who supports Israel because I feel that is the Jewish land that goes back to biblical times, and that I vote conservative and have voted TRUMP and others and talked about it with her. She said me thinking it indirectly is wrong that if I’m voting for these people and they get in office, they are a threat to her very existence that they want to cleanse the nation of anyone who isn’t straight; white; or Christian.

Probably doesn't matter in the long run. You have a girlfriend, and will be married soon. Your wife-to-be probably won't want you being friends with other girls. It's hard for guys and girls to be friends in any event, especially when the dude is married.

Well we grew up together in church. This girl was the perfect example of Christ like and everything. Because of this she grew up repressed in many ways, she was taught that sex was only for pro creation, and that women are to age their bodies fully clothed at all times. Even went to a Christian college. When she was out on her own and seeing and hearing others experiences that’s when she began to question her entire upbringing and spent years “deconstructing” from the childhood she had. She said that the way she grew up and how Christian’s like that grow up in the church it’s all about control. 🤷🏻♂️

I'm no Trump fan but he isn't going to be going Hitler on her. That's craziness and hyperbole.
She can be 100% sure however if she supports Palestine over Israel, she is unknowingly plotting her own suicide by supporting Sharia law..which if given the opportunity, its practices would literally end her existence.

I don't hear too often of people losing friends over their opinions on tax rates or local parks and rec. At some point things like having empathy and do you see other people as human beings who have rights and dignity are much more than a political opinion.

But if that Christian believes their friend is going to burn for all eternity for not believing what he does, he's a ###### friend.
As an agnostic, if I have a friend who thinks I'm going to suffer eternal damnation for my views, then I'm very likely revisiting the quality of that friendship.
EDIT: Let me also elaborate, and I'm taking this from another source but I don't know who it is. If you're in heaven, it's supposed to be paradise and happiness and peace and all that, right? But if you have the knowledge that you have loved ones or friends in hell suffering eternal damnation, how can you truly love heaven? Because if you can enjoy heaven knowing those things, that speaks volumes to you as a person.
Or to use another analogy (again, borrowed), if you're at an amazing dinner party enjoying the best food and free beverages and amazing company, but you know several floors down that there are people being tortured and tormented, do you continue to go on with your merry time and dismiss this knowledge? If so, well, there you go.
And now you see how people who aren't Christians have a problem with those family and friends who say they're going to burn.

I am a Christian and I believe in Heaven and I believe to get there you gotta have faith in Jesus.
I believe there is a hell too. But I'm not the judge of who goes where...I leave that up to a higher power. I have plenty of friends and family who are not believers. My hope is that they will believe one day and I try to aspire to set an example...surely failing in that on occasion.

This is why I don’t talk politics or religion with with my family or friends. In fact, I really have no clue how most of them will vote. Sure, you have the dude who always has to drop a turd into any conversation, but I generally ignore it and move on.
Politics and religion are personal and people believe all kinds of things for all kinds of reasons. You and I may think our truth is THE truth…but so does everyone else…best just to leave it be. Unless it’s on here…then feel free to let it fly.
