….when you’ve got RBs arguing with their coach on the sidelines during games, DEs going to strip clubs the night before a game, and QBs going rogue. There has been a vacuum as far as leadership and authority goes, from veteran players and coaches alike.

Need to play more of the under classmen who are hungry for playing time. They seldom get to play even though they are better than the starters. Part of Dabo's stubbornness.

I'm gonna sound like an ol' curmudgeon, but I think the NIL mess

hasn't done any team any good. Before NIL, a kid knew he had to develop, grow, mature and get better in order to get any kind of contract with the NFL. Now, you have these kids getting loads of money before they even play a snap. Not knocking Cade, but I know he got the Beats and clothing deals before the season ever started. Nothing earned. Lots given. No return on the field was required. Shipley got his big Chipotle deal, and hasn't been nearly the same RB as he was last year.
I think it's going to be much harder for coaches to actually coach these kids who now have tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in the bank, or maybe even millions, before they've even played one game, much less a full season.
Obviously it's not going to impact every player and every team the same way, and maybe I'm wrong. My wife tells me I am frequently, but you know how that is - that's just kinda her job. Like my teen telling me "whatever."
Yes, it'll line the pockets of the players nicely. But I just don't see it doing the programs any good. Now GET OFF MY LAWN!!!!

The whole idea of making an 18 year old think that their “name” or “image” or “likeness” is important in life is ALL wrong. The only place that works is in Hollywood and these kids ain’t going there. Things have to change

XT is like 25 Years Old! That’s absolutely “normal behavior” and NOT an indictment on the “Team”.
That said, I do believe there is a lack of ownership and no true Leader. And a lotta chirping about putting a muzzle on the one true alpha dog we have.

Yeah man, it seems as though Dabo's message has grown stale and the locker room isn't as strong as it has been. This team seems destined for a 7-5 season. The over/under of 9.5 wins coming into the season seemed like free money for the over. Good grief.....

3 more wins?
At NCSU Notre Dame UNC Ga Tech At South Carolina
This offense can't score over 17 in regulation, no matter the defense, goid or bad. It is not going to win three of those five.
