As the overwhelming Majority of T-Netters will say, and are Yelling at the top of their voices, FIRE Brad Brownell, he can not take average to mediocre Player Talent and make it to final 4 of the NIT, or even make it to a one and done of the NCAA tournament as the better teams with better talent do.
So let's fire our BB coach so that we can start all over again, and begin Yelling the very same thing again after a new coach has had 3-5 years with the administration only fully backing our FB program. That sounds about right, did I miss anything!!!! Go Tiger BBall, Go Brownell!!!!

Sorry to disagree but look at the long term record. In less time than BB has been at CU Toni Bennett has won a Nation Championship at UVA. We’ve never had more than 1 talented player at a time, which goes to a lack of good recruiting. When you pay someone as much as BB is paid you should have expectations that exceed his accomplishments. For $1mil/year I have be happy to be a 50%coach. Heck, Illinois do it for half as much.

...all programs pay their coaches a good bit of money. Others pay a WHOLE lot more...and some of those engage in 'practices' Clemson doesn't. But...go ahead and live your dream...

OP didn’t have the upgraded facilities BB has and he was able to recruit and compete at a consistent top 25 level. Football has brought giant exposure to the entire athletic program, if basketball can’t win now in a down ACC year, when will they? This is classic Tommy Bowden syndrome - beat Duke and Louisville, lose to Yale and the rest of the ACC, coach gets extended.
Happy for the players. Congratulations on the win coach, unfortunately too little too late in my meaningless opinion. Big fan of BB just don’t see any progress. Clemson basketball’s standard needs to be a consistent ACC and tourney threat.
