Obviously the pen has blown some leads and there seems to be some serious issues there but man Im still sick about that send from Schnabel this game could be close but now its 3 runs.

Same. The bullpen is what it is. Think we all knew we would blow the lead. Schnabel on the other hand should never make that mistake. He hurt us badly

That was an awful call on his part. Our runner had barely gotten to third when the left fielder had cleanly fielded the ball. My first thought was "he can't possibly be sending him". I also wondered why our batter was not on second, as it would have been much better for him to have been thrown out at second with the first runner scoring than to be standing on first with two outs ...... like it happened. Just poor base running all around.

Other side of that is he knows the pen isn’t that great so every run matters… we struck out about 75 times in two games so getting a knock wasn’t a given by any stretch… he knew the guys had to make a good throw and he did. I don’t mind him taking a chance that early in the game bc we need every run we can get and it took a good throw. More times than not that throw is a little off line , or up the line , or catcher mishandles it and it’s a run… I don’t mind the send once you think about it but at the time I was a little mad about it lol

He has a history of bad judgement as 3rd base coach. He has done it all year.
