Who's the most frustrating QB to watch in Clemson history?

Mike O'Cain was the first that I remember being old enough to watch. I was not old enough to form an opinion but remember Dad getting upset with him at times. Oddly, Dad did not say much Saturday. Maybe I said enough for the two of us LOL.
Fuller - Don't remember any complaining Lott - Only started one year. Not much complaining. Did lose to coots Homer - Not much complaining championship year. Lost his job to Epply next year. Lots of complaining Epply - Not much complaining that I remember Codney - He was great at running option and could throw the long ball to Cooper but the 1987 loss to coots, he played like poo. He could definitely cause frustration as he was not a great passer Morocco - I thought he did good. Only started 1 year Cameron - Did well considering Hatfield turned him into a wishbone QB Louis Soloman - Bless his heart, he tried Nealon - Frustrating but had his moments Streeter - Was a gamer, couldn't stay healthy Woody - Great talent, not a lot of complaining when he was healthy (3)Willie - Lots of frustration Charlie - Not a lot of complaining (4)Will - lots of complaining. Didn't learn til later he played with shoulder injury Kyle - Had is moments but went to crap against coots Tajh - Lots of complaining with his accuracy but also had some great games but went to crap against coots (2)Cole - major complaining Deshaun - Even he got complaints early in junior year with accuracy Trevor - He even got some complaints during soph and junior years (1)DJ - Most I've ever heard

I always felt bad for Nealon because we would get almost nothing on first and second downs running then he had third and long to try to complete a pass. He was always throwing when it was obvious and long yardage it seemed.
Morocco was so good they named a country for him.

DJ. Not even close. He looks like a bad actor out there trying to play QB.

Billy Lott along with Proctor and DJU are the worst of the worst by far.

It's DJ by far. Sure others have had bad games or bad years. But this is consistently just bad or subpar to average at best. I thought after watching Cullen Harper as a kid, Cole Stoudt and Kelly Bryant, I always thought to myself that I won't see anything worse than that. My dad said DJ reminds him of Nealon Greene but that he would rather have Nealon or Will Proctor at this point. Just mind blowing...all of it.

I didn't see Cullen Harper on the list. Not a bad QB. My biggest complaint of him is he ran backwards whenever he got into trouble and turned a loss into a huge loss.

Yeah, that was my biggest gripe with Harper. He wasn't a bad QB though. Just did dumb things sometimes.

I remember all those back to Morocco and the only one even in the ballpark of frustrating to watch with DJ was Stoudt. And even Stoudt could be successful when used properly. DJU really only compares only to his clone, Logan Thomas. I can’t believe that guy took NFL snaps at QB.

I think he's still in the NFL as a Tight End.

wasn't his fault but was faulty coaching/playcalling. Had a great talent and ability to extend plays. Should have been QB while Dantzler was here and should have never been benched for Whitehurst (who did worse with the same offense.)

...more than anything else. And the Clemson QB debacle is the strangest yet. Did Dabo tell Tony and Ven to skip town to save them both?

Since social media, complaining has become an Olympic sport

I go back in memory to Ken Pengitore.
Lott, a tin of complaining, but he followed Fuller.
Fuller, his first 2 years, which were bad.
Randy Williams, people wanted Rodney
Rodney, especially if we had to throw
Richard Moncrief, lawdy
Patrick Sapp, a LB playing QB
Basically every QB since, even Deshaun with his picks and Trevor with his.
Never heard one about Chase Brice and his one game heroics. He's like a god to some here now.
DJ, more than any other, obviously

Yep Striper. Fans complain about them all at some point. Didn’t remember that about Lott but stands to reason since he followed Fuller. Don’t remember Fullers first 2 years very well. Didn’t he split time with OCain?

Level of complaints on rise equals availability of social media and message boards.
