As much as it sucks for FSU. Sometimes in sports and in life things just suck, bit you have pick up the pieces and go on. Of course they (and anyone else) are entitled to feel some kinda way
Alabama had the 5th ranked SOS, FSU had the 55th SOS Bama beat a juggernaut (undefeated) Dawg team, for the SEC Title. Their 1 loss was Texas early on. I would say BAMA got better from then to now. FSU’s best win was LSU, however with losing their QB1, they certainly aren’t as good.
As I said it sucks, but it makes perfect sense
With the playoff expansion this won’t be as much of an issue, but the 13, and 14th teams will be b1thchin and moanin then

Putting FSU over UGA in the rankings is gaslighting

FSU isn't even a top 10 team at this point. They already got blown out in their only CFP appearance. It would've done them no favors to get beat down again.

Everyone knows FSU is the victim of a vast, secret, left-wing conspiracy funded by Soros, propo'd by ESECPN, carried out by Boo, and bent on not only destroying FSU but the ACC.
In fact, this might actually have been a move against NATO.

That's rich.
But he's right - the human factor comes into play when humans are involved. It's why we call it the human factor. And any reasonable human who watched Bama upset Georgia, drank some coffee, ate some dinner, went potty, then sat down and watched FSU sputter and spin their wheels against Loovull ... would come to the same conclusion as those other humans.

That is 100% correct. The committee got it right.

They only got it right if you're looking at it purely subjectively. If you use results as a basis for your choice, then FSU should be in.

The Committee HAD FSU at 4 BEFORE the CCG were played, then told you DA"S what they did to move them down after they won with their 3rd string QB. Your kind fought over toilet paper and got booster after booster that didn't work LOL

Which shows how strong your wins/loses are not just who you schedule has FSU at 3 ahead of both Alabama and Texas.
I’m not crying for FSU. But it’s worth pointing out that the goal post has moved. An undefeated power 5 conference champ was always a lock for the playoffs. That’s no longer the case. And the fact that the SEC benefits from this new standard doesn’t sit well with people who already believe there is a bias to benefit 2 of the power 5 conferences.

This is not a state of mind. There IS bias. In ‘17, an injured and poorly performing AL team who lost their final regular season game and did not make the SECCG was included while FSU in a similar situation - while NOT losing - was not afforded the same consideration.
The “playoff” is an exhibition with no credibility. The ACC should remove itself from the series.

They are charged with picking the “best” teams with rules that basically allow them to do whatever they want. Yet we have had more blowouts than good games throughout the history of CFP.
And last year one of those “best” teams TCU lost 65-7 in the final after beating another “best” team Michigan in the semifinal. And as we expand, which theoretically should lessen the committee voters impact, instead we choose to expand to a number that still lets them award 4 byes. CFB is hung up on the false idea people know who’s best by some eye test.

subjectivity by the committee comes into play! The first criteria a team should have had to meet is...you must win your conference championship! The only exception to that should be when a team that did not win their conference has a better overall record than a conference winner.
By the same token, in this 4 team CFP era, no undefeated conference champ should have ever been replaced by a one loss champ!
I don't care if half the FSU team was killed in a terrorist attack after Saturday's game, they still should have gotten in the playoff, based on being an undefeated conference champ!

It seems everyone wants to forget the Alabama Auburn game. Alabama was beaten, and needed not 1 but 2 miracles at the end of the game to somehow beat a team who was blown out a week earlier by New Mexico State. Alabama played a good game against Georgia, but which team is Alabama really? Results matter... That's why you play the games.

You right but the sheep will say that's the iron bowl or rivalry. Not realizing that Louisville vs Kentucky and Florida and Florida State are rivals also. They leave that part out

Exactly... This part is being totally ignored. I know it doesn't fit their narrative, but this is an important question which is never brought up by "the committee".

Then Clemson should be ranked higher.
Also, why didn’t the committee drop FSU completely out of the top 10 if they are truly that bad ?
Sept and Oct have to matter

The committee talks out both sides of their mouth. Alabama gets one set of rules while everyone else get a completely different set of rules.

Any sentence that says "We think" or "I think" is completely irrelevant. What matters is what happened on the field not what anyone "thinks".
Those are called opinions. Everyone "thought" Washington would lose to Oregon. It doesn't matter what people "think"

Can’t believe so many people are under the CFP’s spell. Wins/losses don’t matter but perceived greatness and reputation do? It mirrors the blindness and naivety of the masked and triple vaxxed sheeple.
