All year long the coaches have been talking about playing a complete game. We finally did it Saturday night. A complete failure on offense, defense, special teams and coaching. I was among the several thousand fans who made the trip. I have yet to hear anyone, the coaches or the players, apologize the the fans who travelled 900 miles to witness the implosion.
I was born a Tiger and will die a Tiger but there is no excuse for Saturday night's debacle and obviously changes in several areas need to be made. Coach Swinney is a great coach. I have faith that he will do what needs to be done.
Before the game begins Saturday at CU Dabo should apologize to Tiger Nation. That would make me feel better, maybe him, but the fans would appreciate the gestor.
It was definitely a crappy trip. I got up at 3 am to drive down to South Bend from the Twin Cities on Saturday.
Endured through some really bad winds during the day with some rain. Then go up to watch the the game and it was awful. We Tiger faithful did not have much to cheer about.
Drove to Valparaiso. Slept for about 5 hours and drove back home. Neighbor asked me how the trip was. I said worst trip ever. the highlight was my book on tape. Although it was cool to see ND and the traditions, South Bend itself is nothing to write home about.
