Perhaps make offers (NIL) to Chase and PJ they cannot refuse ? Stick Around ?

You know, "unfinished business" and all that ... NIL money of say 1 mil a piece to stick around another year. Actually, I think its a "win win". Are Chase and PJ really NBA ready ? Wouldn't another year of really high level College ball make 'em even better, more attractive to the NBA ? If they go now, good chance of the same old story, draft, Summer League, assigned to G League ... end up maybe playing overseas for War Torn Elbonia ?

Thought that Hunter was done, but seems like I was wrong...
https://www.yahoo.com/news/chase-hunter-future-clemson-basketball-115500501.html
Speaking Wednesday after Clemson’s 76-55 loss to Boston College in the second round of the ACC Tournament, Hunter, who has a Covid year of eligibility, said he hasn’t given any thought to whether he’ll use it.
“No, I haven’t thought about it,” Hunter told The State. “It’s something that I’ll think about after the season, when the season’s over . ... No thoughts right now. When the season’s over, that’s when I’ll give that some more thought.”
Hunter has started all 31 games for Clemson this season at point guard and is the team’s third-leading scorer behind center PJ Hall and guard Joe Girard III, averaging 12.3 points per game as well as a team-high 2.9 assists per game.
Hunter, 22, is currently a redshirt senior in his fifth season on the team. A Class of 2019 recruit from Atlanta, he was limited to just nine games as a true freshman because of a season-ending foot injury and was awarded a medical redshirt waiver.
He has a sixth season of eligibility remaining because he played at Clemson during the 2020-21 season affected by Covid-19 (the NCAA gave every athlete who competed that year another year of eligibility).

I have read comments before that basketball has a few deep pocket boosters that have helped put the team in decent shape for NIL funding. I would think Chase will be approached about another year vs money that can be made overseas. We know he has a new born baby so another year in Clemson might be better for his family.

If Chase comes back the way he played in the NCAAT...

He would have a great chance to be 1st team all-ACC and could finish as one of the best guards in Clemson history. And even without PJ, if Jack Clark gets another year and comes back this team could win the ACC and get back to a sweet sixteen again.

Yeah, I didn't realize until today that Clark was even a possibility to come back, but apparently he said in an interview he might have another year left. That could be massive. It would have to be granted from an appeal, but he had just under the maximum number of games allowed for a medical redshirt his freshman year, so he should have a legitimate chance to get another year granted if he wants it.

Chase maybe, but I say let PJ go his way. He was really outplayed by Schieff

the back end of the season, and regressed rather than elevated his play. He may make it in pro ball, but I can't see him making anything more of the college game. Maybe Coach Brownell will find us an upgrade in the Stargate Portal.

Elbonia! Great Dilbert reference!
How hard is it to bounce the basketball in all that mud?
