for WNBA with 2nd year to $78,000 and 3rd year at $80,000.
Is this for real or a base salary?
Understand no one is watching that league~
What knows you?

They play half of the games, don't sell the merchandise, don't have the TV contracts, and don't have the attendance. She is supposedly getting a 20 million dollar shoe deal though.

Bill that ain't a bad salary for a league that has not made a profit since it was formed, nobody attends the games and nobody gives a crap either.

Have you ever seen the Wives section at a WNBA game, some serious talent sitting in those seats.

Watch one of the games. It’s pretty bad basketball. A decent portion possessions end in failure/miscues. They throw the ball out of bounds by accident, they dribble the ball off their foot, they fall down, they shoot an airball, the ball bounces off their teammate's head, it’s not pretty. Sorry, but this is the reality.

Women "age out" quicker than men -- a 27 y/o woman is probably the equivalent of a 35 y/o man when it comes to peak athleticism and how far they are from it.
I'm sure there's a compound cocktail that can offset some of that decline but father time and mother nature are undefeated.

yeah, they have to pass the ball to get it into the hoop. Clark is a rare exception that can take over a game.

Just like all other sports, the salary is set for everyone drafted and it is the WNBA so she does not earn much. Have no fear, her endorsements will bring in millions.

Hopefully she can change the WNBA. Most people don't want to watch tatted up women with attitudes. Quit hating your country and just play basketball. The women's game has progressed so much the last 5-10 years. I really enjoy the college game and will give the WNBA a try.

League loses money every year.
Heavily subsidized by the NBA.

Fact: The WNBA is underwritten by the NBA

…she is lucky she has a job and is making anything to play Women’s subsidized Basketball.
The WNBA can’t support itself because the market finds no value in it. Just the unexpurgated truth.
