Planned around Mafah as the feature back instead of RB 1B. Our offense seems to always do better when we have a Feature RB instead of RB by committee.

I am NOT bashing Shipley at all. He made some great plays, and even won games for us over the past few years.

I just like the idea of the starter getting into a rhythm.

The dude is going to need some help at running back if the O-line is good enough or not. You're talking about relying on one running back for a whole season. Mafah will be too worn down by game 7 or 8. Another running back or 2...plus Cade..and those receivers must bring sledge hammers of their own to get where we need to go and as healthy and loaded as we can be.

I’d never suggest he got 100% of the carries. I just meant like when we had a clear cut number 1, (Gallman, ETN, etc) we still had more RBs get carries.
