Nothing will come of this unless an opposing team thinks it warrants inspection by an umpire. Opposing team will also have to know their own pitching staff is squeaky clean, which most in college baseball are not. Most opposing players don’t care.
As a hitter in today’s game I would rather an opposing college pitcher enhance his grip. Most of these guys are sitting mid 90s, and I for one, would rather them have more control. Pro pitchers have more feel for their fastballs and know where they are going.
Maybe we should get some for Rocco. He throws straight gas but is not sure where it’s going most of the time.
