Then instead of Will Smith standing face to face with Chris Rock and spanking his face, we'd have seen Mr. Smith crawling on his knees and spanking Dwayne Johnson's dink.

is too classy to make a 'joke' about somebody's disease. I would hope.

That seems a little strong, I mean for a condition at least 50% of men have and are regular made fun of for having it.

It appears there are several descriptors for it

androgenic alopecia (male and female pattern hair loss, alopecia universalis (meaning hair loss of everything like eye brows and eye lashes body hair etc), and alopecia areata (patchy hair loss). Thre may be more; i stopped looking at that point.
Jada's appears to be the androgenic type (from what I read), and I'm not sure from first look I would even know she had any issue--I'd think she just liked her hair that length. I doubt Chris Rock knew. Why would he?
I am sorry your son has any type of ailment; I understand how kids can be, and meant nothing personal towards him.
But I'm not sure it gets any easier as we get older, either. Men seem to be an open target for many fun things that would be better if others didn't mention. But were I Will Smith, I'd probably just cuss at Rock under my breath, and go home and roll around in my money like Scrooge Mcduck and laugh at the rest of the world for having to work, or the way we have to live or something equally as superficial4 but ultimately life altering. One would think at his age and success level, that kind of thing wouldn't bother him.
