As a baseball program. I’m no longer burdened by that hope. Looks like we are still 3 or 4 pitchers away from supers. And maybe 2 or 3 hitters.

9-9 in out last 18 games and not getting better---can't hit breaking ball-strike out too much-and no bullpen

The hitting is not fine. Striking out 36 times in 2 games will not win a lot of games… not just the pitching staff that’s a problem.. also the defense has its share of errors too. Yes I’m pointing out the whole team is making mistakes but I still like this teams chances to get us back to the super regionals if we get Taylor back

What is your definition of greatness? If winning seasons, winning ACC Championships and making it to the NCAA Tournament defines greatness, we qualify. If winning Regionals and consistently making it to Omaha is the definition, we are still waiting for greatness.

should never become acceptable. It's normal to be frustrated when we come up short or are lacking in any area. BUT ...
The griping and complaining on here when we are ranked #2 in the ####### nation is straight-up idiotic. Even if we lost a series and aren't #2 anymore, it's still dumbassery. The truth is, yes, we may not be perfect, and we may not be at the very top of the mountain, but WE ARE #### GOOD, and Bakich has brought as a long way. Sure, it can be frustrating at times, but keep some perspective and appreciate where we are, how far we've come, and enjoy the ride.

It really has been depressing for both of our schools in the Post Tanner/Leggett eras.
I just have such fond memories of my childhood and time in school following baseball. I hate to see the apathy in our fans.
