Today has been one heck of a day. I'm glad I'm just about to walk out the door.

Maybe the evening will be much better for you and MyfoJr. Play some great music while you grill. Btw, what's for dinner? My bad, it's "what's for supper?" right

Supper is short for supplicate. Dinner is always late afternoon. It’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Unless it’s breakfast, lunch, and supper. Neither are wrong. Dinner tends to be more formal. At least that’s how I’ve always known it and most seem to agree. The only time it upsets me is if no one calls me when it’s done. I’ll eat it regardless of what you call it! Call me anything just not late to dinner! 😂

I think traditionally dinner is the largest meal, be it at noon or 8pm. I agree with the rest, as long as you call me when’s it’s ready, I don’t care what you call it.

I know the feeling. It's been crazy the last couple of weeks at work for me.
I'm looking forward to picking up dinner on the way home in a couple of hours.
Bourbon and cocktails are in order this evening.
I hope the rest of your Friday and weekend serve you up some tranquility.

Agreed on the bourbon. Started with a glass of eagle rare over a single block of ice and followed with a glass of Sazerac Rye and a single block of ice. Life is good after drink number two! Well earned with four dry days between drinks.

PS: I smoked four racks of ribs today for around 6.5 hours and the wife made scratch made Mac n cheese with fresh fried green beans. Too good to be true. I got my baby back baby back baby back baby back ribs!

I'm going to start with Wild Turkey rare breed for a change of pace. I just bought the bottle today. I'll be having it neat.

I'm sorry that you had a rough day and hope your weekend is better.I'm retired so I don't have to put up with that grind anymore. You said peace and quiet on the lawn mower.
I hope its quieter than mine...an old Honda Harmony 1011R that shakes this old dudes bones and very loud but cuts great. I love your posts my Tiger friend because you are my favorite poster, enjoy food on the grill.

Sorry you had a bad day. We were not promised a rose garden. As one told me once "Suck It Up Buttercup."
