Regionals projections

I’m going to list every 2 seed and their current RPI in each of the 16 hosting spots projected by BaseballAmerica (April 10th, 2024)

1) Arkansas : Kansas State (#34)
2) Clemson : Louisiana (#52)
3) FSU : Alabama (#22)
4) Texas A&M : Oklahoma (#21)
5) Tennessee : Virginia Tech (#37)
6) Oregon State : UC Irvine (#24)
7) North Carolina : MS State (#57)
8) Kentucky : Creighton (#39)
9) Virginia : West Virginia (#26)
10) Vanderbilt : Oregon (#63)
11) UCF : Florida (#43)
12) East Carolina : Wake Forest (#11)
13) Duke: South Carolina (#13)
14) Oklahoma State : Dallas Baptist (#19)
15) Indiana State : Nebraska (#20)
16) Coastal Carolina : Georgia (#10)
They need to eliminate the location factoring when it comes to regionals. Obviously the name is “regionals”.
But as you can see, there is completely no order to these 2 seeds.
Teams should selected into hosting spots based on all factors except location.
The biggest problem here that is blasphemy and shows how rigged they are
3-seed FSU draws a top-25 RPI Alabama, who is actually really good and won 2 out of 3 against #1 Arkansas
And of course 10-seed Vanderbilt gets #63 Oregon.
How is this logical? They projected all these 2-seeds based on their range from hosting spot and quality of resume, but yet they put low rated Oregon across the country in Nashville.
Anyone able to clarify if I’m missing something.
And yes, I’m still angry about getting Tennessee in our regional last year as the 4 national seed.

Most all of you miss my points on everything
They are putting too tough of teams in higher seeded regionals because of location.
It should not be that way.
Has absolutely nothing to do with how much baseball is left.
I’m referring to Tennessee getting to Clemson last year, as me and many people were mad
That is if you understand the whole process of this

thanks to geography and create in-balance. It happens in baseball, tennis, soccer and softball when they make the tourney selections

I see your point ROY, we have been shafted the last few times when hosting gettin teams like Tennessee and Vandy in our regional.
If they spread the southeastern teams out all across you might end up with all teams from the southeast in Omaha.
Bad for ratings nationwide.
Clemson is currently #1 in the nation in RPI, due to our number of quad 1 wins and SOS. Though we average 5th in the rankings.
Finish strong and get some arms back, we should be good.
